About The Ochil Soap Company

We are based on the slopes of the Ochil Hills, a beautiful Scottish landscape that has inspired our natural products.

I started making soap in my home and I was hooked from day 1! The magic involved in the combination of beautiful ingredients was addictive and soon the house was filling with soap of different shapes, sizes and smells.

All our soaps are made from raw ingredient, using the cold process for soapmaking.  Our formulation uses Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil and Shea butter. This gives us a hard but mild soap with lots of lovely fluffy lather.  Some of our soaps have other precious ingredients such as Evening Primrose oil, Cocoa Butter, Honey and Oatmeal.

The process of refining my recipes took time and patience (and lots of baths for the children) but I am delighted to offer them to you here.

Our packaging is minimal.  We use beautiful handmade paper, recycleable boxes and tins, ensuring that we are not impacting on the natural world that inspires us.

Handmade soap is luscious, moisturising and gentle for your skin. In a world where so many things are artificial and chemical, here we have products that you can trust on your and your family's skin.

Up to 60% of what we put on our skin in absorbed into our bodies, so we make sure we use the most natural and luxurious of nature's ingredients.

Enjoy!
